CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We’ve learned the results of a pop-up inspection at a Crumbl Cookies shop in Midtown. Video went viral in July, showing two employees doing hair inside the store. The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services showed up July 22nd in response to a complain t about it. Inspectors found no loose hair or inappropriate personal items. They were told a third-party cleaning company cleaned all food contact surfaces including utensils and equipment.
