(KRON) --  A YMCA summer camp counselor, who is charged with sexually assaulting three girls during a field trip at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center's swimming pool, is currently out of custody. Anthony Joseph Ramon, 25, of Gilroy, bailed out of jail three times following his arrests in July. " Bail should always be about protecting public safety," District Attorney Jeff Rosen said. "The idea that a person suspected of sexually abusing multiple children should get the same chance at freedom as a person accused of mail fraud or some other non-violent crime is wrong, and dangerous." When Ramon is arraigned Friday morning on five felony child molestation charges in South County Morgan Hill Courthouse, prosecutors will urge the judge to order Ramon back to jail -- this time without bail -- pending trial. "The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office is seeking for a third time to send a suspected serial child molester to jail," prosecutors wrote. In a motion filed this week, Deputy District Attorney Montana Musso wrote, "Defendant was extremely opportunistic and went on essentially a mass sexual assault of three ... girls while they were all in swimsuits and playing in a pool." Ramon was supervising children during a June 30 summer camp field trip to the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center when he sexually touched three 10-year-old girl, according to prosecutors. The abuse allegedly happened while Ramon was picking up girls and throwing them into the pool, and when he was swimming in the pool with campers, court documents state. "Defendant’s documented pattern of dangerous and exploitative conduct demonstrates that heposes a substantial and ongoing danger to other minor female children in the community. This counselor assaulted three separate ... campers during a field trip," Musso wrote. "His abuse of the victims was not just a momentary lapse in judgement. Rather, it reflects a sustained pattern of Defendant taking advantage of vulnerable children," Musso wrote. Prosecutors said Ramon is a flight risk for as long as he's out of custody, and "has every motive to evade responsibility." "Clearly, the Court should change Defendant’s bail status to be 'no bail allowed,'" Musso wrote. "The serious potential sentence and potential lifetime consequences provide compelling incentives for him to flee Santa Clara County." Court documents show the following timeline for when Ramon was arrested and bailed out of jail: On July 9, Morgan Hill police officers arrested Ramon in connection to the pool child sex assaults. He posted bail in the amount of $100,000 later that same day. On July 16, police arrested Ramon again because a second victim came forward. A judge set the bail amount at $200,000 and he was released. On July 27, Ramon was arrested a third time, the judge set bail at $50,000, and he was freed from custody.
