On Thursday at 8:47 p.m. an updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Friday at 12:45 a.m. for Erie and Wyoming counties."At 8:47 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain h ave fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," comments the weather service.
