BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WRTV) -- Indiana State Police said Thursday its investigators think more children may have been abused following the arrest in August of a 30-year-old Bloomington man on child molestation charges.Brayton J. Ar
thur was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Monroe County Jail on three felony child molestation charges. Investigators say one of the incidents happened before July 2016.State police investigators say other children may have been approached and ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomington investigations unit and leave contact information for Detective Kent Rohlfing of the Bloomington state police district.According to a press release, Rohlfing began his investigation after observing a child's interview at an advocacy center.He determined the children in the cases were under the age of 18 when the molestations happened, filed a probable cause affidavit in Monroe County, and was granted an arrest warrant.Circle City Broadcasting has reached out to the Monroe County prosecutor for the probable cause affidavit.The Indiana Department of Child Services assisted with the investigation, the release said.
