SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff’s Office has launched a homicide investigation after two bodies were found at a Lynchburg home Wednesday, says SCSO. A 3M-Opticom traffic signal device, shown as the white light, in the light bar of a new Grand Prairie Police Car. The device all ows emergency vehicles to change traffic lights en route while responding to calls. 05262008xMETRO 06092008xMETRO Deputies were dispatched to a Lynchburg home Wednesday evening, September 2, after receiving a report that two people had been found dead. Upon their arrival, deputies confirmed the deaths of two adults. The victims’ identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Sumter County Coroner’s Office. Investigators have identified persons of interest and have reason to believe that the victims knew the killer(s), says Sumter Co. deputies.
