The National Weather Service released an updated flash flood warning at 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday in effect until Thursday at 12:45 a.m. for Allegany and Cattaraugus counties."At 10:25 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches o f rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," says the weather service.
