At 8:47 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated tornado warning in effect until 9 p.m. for Cayuga and Seneca counties."At 8:47 p.m., a severe squall line capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located over Union Springs, or near Sene ca Falls, moving east at 30 mph," says the weather service. "Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.
