Two canoers were found dead Sunday after an overnight boating trip in Tomales Bay. First responders say the men took off for a night “luminescence” trip around midnight. Multiple agencies deployed searchers from the water, ground and air. The body of one man was found in the ocean, just outside the mouth of Tomales Bay. The second man was found on shore, just north of Hog Island in the Bay. Both were wearing life jackets. Emergency responders say this area is notoriously dangerous.
