LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. Mandatory evacuations for a small wildfire burning between Estes Park and Lyons have been lifted, but residents in the Pinewood Springs area remain under voluntary evacuation orders.The Moose Mountain Fire prompted the Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority to issue the mandatory evacuations for residents in Pinewood Springs and Blue Mountain at 1:30 p.m. Friday.An evacuation map of the fire is below.Speaking to Denver7's northern Colorado and eastern plains reporter Peter Choi, the Pinewood Springs fire chief said the blaze was about 1.5 acres in size as of 3 p.m.That number was updated to between 1.5 and 2 acres by about 4:30 p.m., according to a spokesperson with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, who said multiple fire agencies were actively engaged and working to build fire containment lines.Deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office warned smoke from the Moose Mountain Fire may be seen in the Lyons area through the rest of the day."At this time, we have no impacts (evacuations, road closures, etc.) in Boulder County," said Boulder County Sheriff's Office spokesman Vinnie Montez in a social media post.
