Aug. 28, 2026: There’s one week left to submit your application for the Leadership Pierre program through the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce. The extended application and tuition submission deadline was extended to Friday, September 4, 2026. According to the Chamber, Leadership Pierre is a nine-m onth leadership development program designed to help participants grow their mindset, sharpen their skills, and lead with greater confidence and clarity. There are options available for taking the full program or the classroom only portion of the program. Special pricing is available for Leadership Pierre alumni. The leadership educational portion is led by Erik Therwanger, the founder of Think GREAT. There’s a $25 cost to buy a book or $5 cost for an e-book. Please note that applying during this extension means you missed the Kick-Off event, but you’ll be ready to jump in when classes begin on September 10. Participation details: Full Program: One in-person day per month, September 2026 through May 2027. Includes classroom portion, community based sessions with tours and networking.
