Officials are reminding everyone to buckle when in a car after seatbelts saved a driver and a child during a crash on Interstate 95 Thursday. According to the Upper Chichester Fire Department, crews were called to the southbound side of I-95 around 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 27 for reports of a crash wit h people trapped. When firefighters got to the scene, they said they were able to get the driver out of the vehicle and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A child who was also inside the car was not hurt in the crash, officials said. Officials credit the use of seatbelts with saving the lives of the two people.
