Former Penn State assistant football coach and convicted serial child molester Jerry Sandusky is scheduled to return to court in two weeks as one of his accusers plans to recant his allegations, according to new court documents. During an upcoming evidentiary hearing, a victim identified as R.R., his estranged wife, the Sandusky family investigator and a former state prosecutor are all expected to testify. Originally, victim R.R. had testified that he met Sandusky at Second Mile Charity in 1997 which is when the alleged abuse began, court documents say. Court documents released on Aug. 27 show that R.R. recanted his testimony in June 2025. The evidentiary hearing in this case is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2026, in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
