Scattered storms continuing into Friday
Aug 27, 2026
Tonight, the weather turns much more active. Showers and a few thunderstorms will become more numerous through the evening, and some of these could produce some pretty heavy rain. It won’t rain nonstop for everyone, but there will be enough activity around that you’ll want to keep the um
brella close if you’re heading out. Temperatures will settle into the upper 60s and low 70s overnight.
By Friday, we’re looking at our wettest day. Clouds will hang around for much of the day, with showers and thunderstorms becoming more widespread, especially during the afternoon. Some areas could pick up a quick burst of heavy rain, so localized ponding on roads will be possible. With all the clouds and rain around, temperatures will have a hard time getting out of the mid-80s.
Friday night stays unsettled, with additional showers and storms possible. So even after the sun goes down, we’re not completely done with the rain.
Then we head into Saturday, and while I don’t think it’s going to be a washout, you’ll definitely want to have a backup plan. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop through the day, with the afternoon and early evening looking like the more active time. Temperatures will stay cooler, with highs mainly in the low 80s.
Sunday finally gives us a little more breathing room. We’ll still have a chance for a pop-up shower but rain coverage should be lower than what we see Friday and Saturday. We’ll also start to warm things back up a bit. Stay tuned!
