The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who ran over an officer’s foot with his motorcycle while fleeing a traffic stop Tuesday. Police said that around 4:39 p.m. on Aug. 25, an officer attempted to stop and investigate a man riding a motorcycle fo r several traffic-related violations in the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue. According to officials, the man stopped, and the officer got out of his vehicle. The man then fled on his motorcycle. As the man rode away, police said he ran over the officer’s foot with the motorcycle and continued riding east on the sidewalk along Hunting Park. On Thursday morning, police released surveillance video showing the encounter between the suspect and the officer. Press play above to watch the video.
