LPD public information manager Erika Thomas says officers responded to the area of 1st and “M” streets around 8:30am , about a body that was found. Investigators located the man believed to be in his 50s on the ground deceased. Thomas told KFOR News the investigation into the man’s death is ongoing, as officers work to identify him and what led to his death. She said more information will be released as it becomes available.
