Lincoln Fire and Rescue Engine 12. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 27)–Wednesday morning’s camper fire near 8th and South Street has turned deadly. Lincoln Police confirming Thursday morning that a 27-year-old woman passed away from her injuries on Wednesday evening. An autopsy has bee n scheduled for Friday and her identity has not yet been released pending notification of relatives. LPD says an investigation is being led by their Criminal Investigations Unit and the LFR fire inspector is still ongoing. It was shortly before 11am Wednesday that LFR and LPD were called to the area of 8th and South streets, about a camper fully engulfed in flames.  LPD says LFR reported that a bystander went inside to rescue the 27-year-old woman in the camper.  Both were taken to a Lincoln hospital.
