A pedestrian is dead after a crash on SR-32 early Thursday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.OSHP told WCPO early Thursday morning that the SR-32 off-ramp to Glen-Este Withamsville Road in Clermont County was c losed while troopers investigated.A WCPO crew at the scene saw an SUV with front-end damage stopped on the ramp at the crash site.Later Thursday morning, OSHP sent a press release that said the crash happened at around 4:10 a.m. on SR-32. Troopers said the driver of a 2020 Kia Sportage was heading west on the highway when 40-year-old Christopher Latchford of Mount Orab was walking in the road.The driver of the Kia crashed into Latchford, killing him; Latchford died at the scene, OSHP said.The driver of the Kia was not hurt in the crash, troopers said.The highway and ramp have re-opened.Troopers did not say why Latchford may have been in the road, or whether the driver involved could be charged. ...read more read less
