Wednesday remains dry with temperatures in the mid 80s and winds out of the south. Humidity returns Wednesday night with clouds increasing. Storms scattered in nature start on Thursday around sunrise. These storms will not be as severe as the ones that will fire up Thursday afternoon and even ing. Damaging winds seem likely with these storms. Soaking rain is expected and a few storms could produce hail. A storm or two could turn severe near Philadelphia and along the I-95 corridor on Thursday. However, the most prime location for severe weather will be from the western suburbs of Pennsylvania and west into Berks County and extending north into the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. Finally, a cold front will arrive late Thursday night clearing storms out of the region. Friday will be partly sunny with a slim chance of an isolated shower or storm. This final weekend of August looks promising with sunshine and low humidity this Saturday. Temperatures will then heat up back into the 90s next week.
