Summit County will hold its eighth Community Noxious Weeds Tour from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 12, beginning at Richardson Flat Park Ride. Attendees will receive hands-on instruction to identify Summit County’s “most wanted” noxious weeds and learn practical, effective techniques to manage them on their own property. They’ll also have a chance to chat with local experts from Summit County Weeds Division, Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, Summit CWMA, Basin Recreation and the Summit County USU Extension.
