Claudette Bissonnette Credit: Courtesy Claudette Claire Bissonnette, 95, of Winooski, Vt., died on August 15, 2026, at Maple Ridge Memory Care after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Colchester, Vt., on October 2, 1930, to the late Victor and Rose (Rousselle) Gratton. She sp ent her early years in Williston, Colchester and Winooski. She was married to Donald Bissonnette in 1950. Claudette worked at General Electric for over 35 years. Claudette is survived by her children, Anne Raymond (Terry), Ronald Bissonnette (Dennette), David Bissonnette (Nancy) and Gerry Bissonnette; six grandchildren, Matt and Crystal Bissonnette, Amy and Brad Bissonnette, Jesse Bissonnette, and Nathan Trombley; and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Wesley, Brynn and Landon. She was predeceased by her brother and two sisters. Her family extends a special thank-you to Maple Ridge Memory Care, Bayada Home Hospice, and Dr. Emily Strout. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 5 to 7 p.m., at LaVigne Funeral Cremation Services, Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 11:30 a.m., at St Francis Xavier Church, with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
