A Montgomery County physical therapist is accused of forcing one of his patients to touch him inappropriately. Donald Muller, 44, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, is charged with indecent assault forcible compulsion, indecent assault without consent of other and indecent exposure. The investigation began back on July 22, 2026, when a Springfield Township Police officer responded to the Meadowview Nursing and Rehab Center in the Lafayette Hill community in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, for a report of sexual abuse. A woman in her 70s told police that Muller – who was her physical therapist – had inappropriate sexual contact with her during two of their sessions. The victim said the first incident occurred on July 20, 2026, when Muller made her touch his genitals, according to the criminal complaint. The victim also said that Muller’s wife works at the rehab center and that she told him, “I bet your wife wouldn’t like to hear about this,” when the incident occurred, according to investigators. The victim also accused Muller of once again forcing her to touch his genitals during another physical therapy session on July 21. A social worker also told investigators that similar allegations had been made against Muller by another female resident at the rehab center back in June 2024 though no charges were filed back then. Police interviewed Muller on July 23, 2026. Muller denied all the allegations before telling police, “I’m sorry,” according to the criminal complaint. When police asked Muller what he was sorry about he stated, “I’m sorry this happened all together,” investigators said. A photo of Donald Muller. Muller is currently not allowed to return to the rehab center as part of his bail conditions. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2026. NBC10 reached out to Muller’s attorney, Danton Lee Moyer, who said he was looking forward to establishing the allegations as false. “We fiercely dispute and deny the allegations filed against Mr. Muller,” Moyer wrote. “We ask that the public (and potential jury pool) reserve judgment and give Mr. Muller the presumption of innocence he deserves.” An administrator at the Meadowview Nursing and Rehab Center also disputed the allegations. ...read more read less
