Corpus Christi Police and the Nueces County Sheriff's Department are looking for several people who vandalized Bob Hall Pier overnight.According to Nueces County Director of Coastal Parks Scott Cross, around 11 a.m., several con tractors began sending him text messages letting him know about the vandalism."Anything that wasn't bolted down was thrown in the water," Cross said.Cross said a generator, shop fans, tools, tables, chairs and even the project's blueprints were thrown in the water. One contractor tells KRIS 6 News he lost about $5,000 in tools.Cross said video from a surveillance camera on the pier's concession stand shows four people throwing items over the pier and into the Gulf.Cross and contractors have filed police reports with the Corpus Christi Police Department.As of Monday afternoon, there's no word on the total value of what was lost.In the meantime, Cross said he hopes those perpetrators are caught."Once we find out who they are, they will banned from the pier for life".For the latest local news updates, click here, or download the KRIS 6 News App.Catch all the KRIS 6 News stories and more on our YouTube page.
