Registration is now open for Colorado's e-bike rebate program.Earlier this month, Gov. Jared Polis and the Colorado Energy Office announced the program was returning, with registration opening on Monday, Aug. 24.According to the governor's office, there is $3 million in funding from the Community Access Enterprise for the fiscal year.The standard rebate is worth $1,000, according to the state. Residents who purchase e-cargo bikes or adaptive e-bikes can receive an additional $300 rebate for each.The rebates are available to Colorado residents with a household income at or below 80% of the area median income in the county where they live.According to the state, the applications will open at 11 a.m. MT and it will be open through Aug. 31 at 12 p.m. MT.Initially, residents will only need to submit their name and contact information.
