BRANDED CONTENT Those who experience environmental allergies, asthma, or eczema understand how debilitating these diseases can feel in everyday life, let alone finding the right treatment to soothe the symptoms. Our goal is to bring this to people who value their time the most and need a better approach.” Patients will meet with Dr. Stanga for a 60-minute consultation to review their symptoms, past treatments, and medical history. If determined a candidate for RapImmune, patients receive one injection each month for three months, followed by a check-up appointment every three to six months for the next year, which can be in-person or through telehealth. Some patients might need a booster, though it’s uncommon. “Most people don’t have the time for years of shots and several trips to the allergist’s office,” Dr. Stanga explains. “I completed nearly 20 years of traditional shots, and after undergoing RapImmune, it has changed the game for me. Our goal is to bring this to people who value their time the most and need a better approach.”   The injection is quick, feels similar to a blood draw, and patients experience less allergic reaction than with traditional allergy shots. After a 30-minute wait in the office to watch for a reaction, patients can continue on with their day. “It’s simple, not painful, and most people hardly perceive it,” says Dr. Stanga. Who is the treatment for? RapImmune can help those with environmental allergies—think pollen, dust, pets, mold—asthma, and eczema. It can help alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion or drainage, sinus pressure, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. “This is a fantastic option for patients who have tried multiple medications and other treatments but want something more effective and long term,” says Dr. Stanga, who treats both adults and children.   Is it safe? Doctors and scientists have studied this type of allergic immunotherapy treatment since 2008, starting in Europe at the University of Zurich.
