A stolen car was connected to two crashes in Trenton on Sunday afternoon, including a collision between two police vehicles, the Trenton Police Department said. The first crash occurred at 1:35 p.m. after two police cars attempting to respond to a report of a stolen car collided into each other, police said. One of the police cars then crashed into another car stopped at Prospect and Bellevue Avenue, police said. The detectives involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. NBC10 was able to obtain images from the scene of the police crash. Then, the stolen car reported to police crashed at the intersection of Calhoun Street and Bellevue Avenue after running a red light, police said. The people inside the stolen car were taken into custody and then taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. The people inside the car that was crashed into were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. The total number of people injured inside the stolen car and the car crashed into was not immediately available.
