ZACHARY mdash; The Zachary Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.According to officers, Marlin Vanessa Garcia Rodriguez was last seen on Aug. 19 in the area of Munson Drive and North Vernon Road in Zachary wearing a black shirt and black pants.nbsp;Office rs said on Thursday morning Rodriguez texted her mother that she had arrived at school; however, a photo that she sent to her mother indicated that she was elsewhere. Zachary High School also confirmed that Rodriguez did not attend class that day.nbsp;Rodriguez is about five feet tall and weighs about 90 pounds.nbsp;Detectives have interviewed several individuals and searched multiple locations, including a residence and surrounding areas.
