The National Weather Service released a flash flood warning at 7:03 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 11 a.m. for Chautauqua County."At 7:03 a.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amoun ts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," states the weather service.
