MONROE, N.C. – The Monroe Police are investigating after shots were fired into a residence on Skywatch Lane near Waxhaw Highway. Thursday night, Monroe Police responded to Skywatch Lane after it was reported that shots were fired multiple times. Witnesses reported that a black vehicle was circlin g the neighborhood before the shooting occurred. Investigators are working the determine more details.
