PORT ALLEN - A former mayor of Port Allen died at the age of 65, the Port Allen Police Department confirmed to WBRZ.Derek Lewis, 65, died Thursday night. No other details were immediately available regarding his death.Lewis was set to go to trial after being arrested for indecent behavior with a ju venile and third-degree rape.
