Oklahoma City Ballet will kick off its 2026-27 season with two free, family-friendly events Sept. 11-12, offering performances and opportunities for the public to experience dance. The seventh annual Ballet Under the Stars begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Scissortail Park. The outdoor perfo rmance will feature a mix of classical ballet and contemporary works. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and picnics. Pre-show activities begin at 5:30 p.m. and include a chance to watch Oklahoma City Ballet dancers warm up and participate in a free family movement class. Dance Day at OKC Ballet is Saturday, Sept. 12, with Dance Day at OKC Ballet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Susan E. Brackett Dance Center, 6800 N.
