Aug 18, 2026
A New Jersey high school athletic director has been charged after, police claim, he was caught on surveillance camera peering into the bedroom of a young girl in Bucks County.
According to police, officers responded to a home along Split Log Drive in Pipersville at about 10:41 p.m. on Aug. 6, 20
26, following a report of a man peering into the window of “a young girl’s bedroom.”
At that location, officials said, the homeowner shared surveillance video that showed a man — identified by NBC10 newsgathering partner KYW Newsradio as Winfield “Tripp” Becker, 48, of Cabin Run Road in Pipersville — involved in the incident.
Police said the individual charged in this incident was a neighbor and was known by the victim.
According to court documents, Becker was charged with loitering and prowling at night, along with summary harassment following an incident on Aug. 6, 2026.
Also, as noted by KYW Newsradio Suburban Bureau Chief Jim Melwert, Becker has been placed on administrative leave by the district pending the outcome of these charges.
Melwert also noted that the family involved in this case installed the surveillance cameras after hearing someone knocking on their daughter’s bedroom window and running away.
Becker has a preliminary hearing on these charges scheduled for Sept. 8, 2026.
