The Sorrento Fire is burning near the canyon between Sorrento Valley Boulevard and Carmel Mountain Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. There is an evacuation order for zone SDC-1444. The temporary evacuation point is at 4161 Eastgate Mall.
