d we are not anticipating any further erosion," Deputy Director of DPW Daniel Stevenson told WRTV 6 News.INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) The Indianapolis Department of Public Works is urging residents of River Road Apartments to evacuate immediately due to imminent structural failure caused by erosion.Just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday night, DPW posted to Facebook urging residents located at 9120 Tower Bridge Road to evacuate immediately. The erosion is the result of the washout of River Road.Residents located at 4464 Hyde Park Way are being asked to evacuate as well.Collect any necessary belongings, including medicine and important papers, and evacuate with all members of your household, including pets. If you are physically unable to evacuate, call 911.amilies with pets seeking shelter should go to the Noble Center, located at 2406 North Tibbs Avenue. The north side Red Cross shelter is still in operation at the Washington Township Adult Center, 8401 Westfield Boulevard.
