Officers responded to a reported shooting at the 2800 block of Mercer Street at around 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, police said. There, they found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced dead at around 2 p.m. According to police, investigators are treating the incident as a murder-suicide that was domestic in nature. The identities of the two deceased have not been released at this time, but they are both adults, police said.
