Aug 14, 2026
(CNN)– More than one-and-a-half million white and brown eggs sold in multiple states have been voluntarily recalled due to a risk of salmonella contamination.
The affected eggs from Midwest Poultry Services were produced and distributed from farms in Texas.
They were sold by the dozen at Kroger
stores in Texas and Louisiana.
The eggs were also sold at Brookshire grocery stores in six states along with other smaller retail outlets.
The recalled eggs have sell-by or best-by dates between July 20 and August 17.
