DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WRTV) Search operations are underway for one person in Delaware County after four people jumped into Mississinewa River Wednesday after significant flooding.According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Offi ce, deputies were dispatched at approximately 8:37 p.m. to the area of County Road 450 East and Gregory Road after receiving reports of the incident.By 9:02 p.m., two individuals were safely pulled from the water without injury. A third person was located and recovered shortly after, also without injury.Search and rescue teams worked through the night using boats, drones and foot patrols in an effort to locate the fourth individual, police said.At approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office suspended overnight search operations.Delaware county officials have resumed the search at 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Officials say conditions in and around the river will be assessed to determine the next steps.Delaware County was affected by flash flooding Wednesday which may be impacting the river search.The identity of the missing individual has not been released. ...read more read less
