BATON ROUGE mdash; AMSURG has acquired Capital Surgery Center, expanding its presence in the Baton Rouge market.Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The Nashville-based company describes itself as a leader in ambulatory surgery center services. Capital Surgery Center is its second loca tion in Baton Rouge and its eighth in Louisiana."Capital Surgery Center has built a strong reputation for providing specialized pain management and orthopedic care to patients in their community with an unwavering commitment to quality," said Dina Palmisano, Vice President, Development at AMSURG.
