The Sixers know their road ahead for the 2026 NBA Cup. The NBA on Wednesday announced each team’s four group stage games for this year’s edition of the Cup. Below are the Sixers’ matchups in Eastern Conference Group B:  Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET vs. Knicks Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET at C avaliers Nov. 25 at 5 p.m. ET vs. Heat Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Pacers All NBA Cup games count toward the regular-season standings besides the championship. The full schedule for the 2026-27 season will be released on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.  Overall, the Sixers went 7-8 last regular season against their group stage opponents: 2-2 vs. Knicks 0-4 vs. Cavs 1-2 vs. Heat 4-0 vs. Pacers  The Knicks are the defending champions of both the NBA Cup and NBA championship. The Sixers will first see the Knicks on opening night, which is set for Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden.  The Sixers have not gone past the group stage in the previous three years of the NBA Cup, which was first called the In-Season Tournament. They do have a former In-Season Tournament MVP on their team in LeBron James, who won the award as a Laker in 2023. Eight teams will reach the Cup quarterfinals. Every group winner will advance along with the top second-place finisher from each conference. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Dec. 4 and Dec. 5, the semifinals for Dec. 8 and/or Dec. 9.
