Physical disaster loans from the SBA are only available to damaged businesses in Avoyelles, Lafourche, Pointe Coupee, St. Landry, St. Tammany and Terrebonne parishes. Economic injury disaster loans are available to business owners in Acadia, Assumption, Catahoula, Concordia, Evangeline, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafayette, LaSalle, Orleans, Rapides, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St James, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin, St. Mary, Tangipahoa, Washington, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes. Hancock and Pearl River counties in Mississippi are also eligible. The deadline for economic injury disaster loans remains March 30, 2027. Loan applicants must have a credit history acceptable to the SBA and demonstrate the ability to repay their loans.
