LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a driver is dead following a wreck Saturday morning. It happened on South Lake Drive near Nazareth Road at 11:45 a.m. According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, a 1987 Toyota Pickup and a 2025 Chevy Tahoe were both driving south, when the pick up truck made an improper lane change and struck the Chevy Tahoe, causing the truck to overturn. The Toyota driver died on scene while the Chevy driver was not hurt. The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet as the investigation is ongoing.
