The Outside Lands Music Festival drew tens of thousands of people to Golden Gate Park over three days, but there were other events, including music at the Stern Grove Festival. In San Francisco, people lined up to see a performance at Stern Grove with an artist they’ve been waiting to see. F or a fan, the choice of getting to the city from the East Bay did not involve driving. “I caught BART and Muni, but I actually had a smooth stop, I got off at St. Francisco circle and came off,” Tanna said. Sunday was the last day of this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival at Golden Gate Park. The festival was expected to draw a quarter of a million people over the three-day weekend, with a list of favorites. For Outside Lands, people could take special metro shuttles or the Judah Muni Line. Rideshare has drop-off spots and autonomous vehicles are restricted to rides a few blocks away from the park. SFMTA says it’s been going well getting people in and out efficiently.
