This historic map of Edisto Island was falling apart. A Charleston local saved it.

A local art and history conservator singlehandedly restored a damaged 18th century map of Botany Bay on Edisto Island. The first-of-its-kind plat had been torn in half, but Marion Hunter used a unique Japanese-style restoration process to piece it together.
