A man and a woman were seriously hurt after they were ejected from their motorcycle while riding along Black Horse Pike on Saturday, the Gloucester Township Police Department said. Officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Black Horse Pike (State Highwa y 168) and Garden Avenue in Blackwood, Camden County at around 10:37 a.m., police said. At the crash scene, officers found the motorcycle’s driver and a passenger seriously injured in the road way. According to police, the two unidentified riders were taken to the hospital, where they are listed in critical but stable condition. No one inside the car was injured, police said. An investigation has found that the motorcycle was initially waiting on Garden Avenue to turn left onto Black Horse Pike southbound, but when it went to make the turn it struck a car traveling northbound along Black Horse Pike, police said. The driver of the car remained on scene and speed or distracted driving do not appear to be factors in the crash, police said, but the incident remains under investigation.
