The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a 73-year-old man who is believed to have dementia and heart conditions.According to a press release, officers are searching for Leon D. Newton, who was last seen on Friday around 4:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Tower Plaza.Police report that Newton is five feet, four inches tall, weighing 135 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and he was last seen wearing a blue hat, a red short-sleeve polo shirt, and blue-gray pants.Police believe Newton to be traveling on foot.
