San Diego police discovered a woman dead with apparent gunshot wounds and her husband critically injured in the garage of a Mira Mesa home on Friday night, according to the San Diego Police Department. Police responded to 9-1-1 calls from neighbors just before 7 p.m. regarding suspicious activity at a home near the intersection of Summerview Court and Jade Coast Drive, according to SDPD. When police arrived, they found a deceased woman in her 70s and a man in his 60s suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso, police said. Paramedics transported the critically injured man to a hospital.
