Season outlook: Coming off their first undefeated season and second state title in school history, the Waverly football team is very upbeat for this season, even though there were key losses to graduation.  Developing depth on the offensive and defensive lines will be key.  Staying healthy will also be key for Waverly this year, since they won’t have the same depth they had last year.  Both Teply and McMillan have Division I offers to play in college.
