A New Jersey man pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl and producing child sexual abuse material in 2025. Jason R. Anderson, 44, of Haddon Heights, admitted to sexually abusing the girl after investigators discovered photos and videos of the abuse on his cellphone. Authorities with the Camden County Prosecutors Office and Haddon Heights Police Department began the investigation on Feb. 10, 2025, after receiving a report that Anderson possessed the images and videos. The investigation determined the files had been shared on a digital app, where Anderson used the screen name “Horny Ped.” Anderson was arrested on February 10 and has been held in the Camden County Correctional Facility. He pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child through manufacturing Child Sexual Abuse Material, and failure to register as a Megan’s Law Offender. “The crimes committed by this defendant are unspeakable and defy comprehension,” said Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. “Although no sentence can undo the devastating harm caused to this child, this plea agreement holds the defendant accountable while protecting the victim and her family from the ordeal of a public trial. Our hope is that they can now begin to heal and look ahead to a brighter future.” Under Anderson’s plea agreement, he is expected to be sentenced to 35 years in New Jersey State Prison. He must serve 25 years without the possibility of parole on the aggravated sexual assault conviction under New Jersey’s Jessica Lunsford Act. Under the No Early Release Act, Anderson must serve 85% of the remaining 10 years of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
