IndyGo announces shuttle service to the Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) IndyGo is aiming to make getting to and from the Indiana State Fair easier for fairgoers. They have announced a new shuttle service that runs from near Ivy Techs Lawrence campus to the fairgrounds.According
to a press release, the line will take people from IndyGos Fort Harrison stop, which is on the northeast side of Indianapolis, to the State Fairgrounds. Busses will leave every 15 minutes and will cost $2.75 per ride.The shuttle service will go from Aug. 7-Aug. 23.This shuttle service is in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College and the City of Lawrence. People using the shuttle can leave their cars in the parking lot near the station on Wheeler Road, according to the release. Thats south of Ivy Techs Lawrence campus.The shuttle runs during the following times: Monday Friday | 5 a.m. 1 a.m. Saturday | 6 a.m. 1 a.m. Sunday | 7 a.m. 10 p.m.IndyGo says they want first-time riders to feel confident using the shuttle service. They are offering free travel training sessions from 3-8 p.m. on Friday and from noon to 3p.m. on Saturday. The classes will be at the State Fairgrounds Station.Riders must pay with either a physical MyKey+ card, through the MyKey+ app, or use cash.
