A woman died Tuesday after running a stop sign and colliding with a big rig in Collin County near Lucas, the Texas Department of Public Safety says. According to the DPS, the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Spark headed east on Osage Lane didn’t stop at the intersection and collided with a big rig h eaded north on Farm-to-Market Road 1378/Southview Drive. The driver of the spark, identified by the DPS as 55-year-old Kaysie Sparling, died at the scene. The driver of the big rig was not hurt in the crash.
