San Jose firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire burning near an Interstate 280 on-ramp. The San Jose Fire Department said crews are on the scene in the 0 block of Duane Street, near the I-280 on-ramp from South First Street. At last report, the fire had consumed approximately a half- acre. Fire officials stated that no structures are currently threatened.
